Fleurieu Peninsula Wineries

Of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s four official wine regions, McLaren Vale is the best known. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Adelaide and has more than 60 winery cellar doors, great dining and is close to some beautiful coast and beaches. It is most famous for Shiraz and is gaining respect for its Italian and spanish varietals. Fine olive oils and almonds are also produced. The other official wine regions are Langhorne Creek, Currency Creek and Southern Fleurieu.
