Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu

Day 1

Make your way to the Adelaide Hills to Mount Lofty Estate and step into one of a collection of the world’s finest supercars on a driving experience through the Adelaide Hills. Stop by Pike & Joyce Winery for morning tea before making your way to The Lane for a five-course lunch. Continue through the scenic Adelaide Hills and the fringe of the Barossa before returning to check into your luxury accommodation at Sequoia Lodge. In the afternoon enjoy a treatment at Gatekeepers Day Spa, relax in the spring fed hot pool or take a guided nature walk along the Heysen Trail. For dinner head to the Sequoia Lodge dining room to sample seasonal local produce and speak to the on-site sommelier to perfectly match a glass (or two) of wine. After dinner it is time to make use of the private telescope for star gazing to spot ancient constellations and thousands of stars.

Day 2

Travel to the Fleurieu on a private 4WD tour to explore the regions pristine coastline and boutique wineries to meet the people behind some of the country's best small batch wines. First stop is the ancient Onkaparinga Gorge with geology dating back 600 million years. Wonder at the incredible view of the gorge while keeping your eyes out for kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitat. Next it is time to travel to McLaren Vale for wine tasting across a selection of the region’s best wineries. Yangarra Estate, Samson Tall, and Bekkers Wine Room or let your guide your preferences in advance so they can tailor a visit that suits your tastes and interests best. Along the way stop at the award-winning Salopian Inn for a delicious lunch surrounded by vineyards. After the days touring, head back to Sequoia and enjoy dinner at the 3 hatted Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant.

Day 3

After breakfast looking over Piccadilly Valley make your way to Cleland Wildlife Park with exclusive access prior to the park opening to the public. Enjoy a guided tour and hand feed the cockatoo’s and the freely roaming kangaroos and emus. Learn all about the koala’s as you have the opportunity to hold and cuddle their soft, thick fur and a souvenir picture to capture the incredible experience. After saying goodbye to the local wildlife, it is time make your way down to Adelaide Airport or head to your next destination.
