If you are looking for adventure, then the City of Adelaide has plenty of options to get the heart rate pumping.
Day 1

Start the day with a visit to the southern parklands and visit Australia’s first inner-city aerial adventure park TreeClimb. Built within the natural environment of the parklands with over 70 obstacles across 8 different routes that are progressively challenging for both Adults and Children. With zip lines moving you from the different obstacles and courses this is the perfect way to get the heart pumping for the day.
After flying through the Southern Parklands, it is time to replenish your energy with lunch on the Torrens River. Visit BBQ Buoys and float along the Adelaide Riverbank Precinct and soak in the views. You can supply your own food if you wish, or you can hire a bbq and choose from a selection of South Australian products to enjoy. You can also include a cool box with ice and choose from a selection of wine, beers, and non-alcoholic options for purchase. With room for up to 10 people on board there is plenty of room for groups or to stretch your legs for couples and smaller families.
It’s time to up the ante while continuing to enjoy the views of the Torrens River with a kayak tour from Earth Adventure. This guided tour showcases the scenic views of the cityscape and riverbank environments and explains the history and importance of the River Torrens and surrounds. With group sizes limited to 8 people it is a unique way to explore the city and the only of its kind.
Once you have returned to land it’s a short walk to the world-renowned Adelaide Oval to take in the sunset with Adelaide Oval RoofClimb. Your guide will take you up onto the rooftops of the historic grandstands to enjoy some of the best views of Adelaide and point out some points of interest across the CBD and all the way down to the coast. Enjoy the sunset over the ocean from the best vantage point in Adelaide before making your way back down to ground level to conclude your day of adventure.
Once your day of touring is complete make the most of your day out and about in the city with dinner or drinks at one of Adelaide’s renowned restaurants or bars.
