Immerse yourself in four days of relaxed river cruising and experience incredible wildlife diversity where Australia's river oasis meets the outback.

With overnight accommodation on a luxury houseboat, Murray River Safari is for those who enjoy short trips such as guided walks, canoeing, an outback drive, and open boat cruising. A collection of small guided river tours enable you to encounter koalas, kangaroos, emus, and many of the 180 species of birds that call this region home.

Recharge daily on the luxury houseboat with fresh lunches and superb river dining including award-winning Riverland wines. Enjoy a spa on the top deck and reflect on the days highlights, capturing the amazing sunset reflections.

Their guides help you connect with the river through the stories and participating in important citizen science programs. Learn about the pioneering years of paddle steamer trade in the inland as well as ancient cultures predating them by thousands of years. You'll admire the feats of migratory waders from the northern hemisphere and migratory Rainbow bee-eaters on spectacular inland lakes.

The fully catered Murray River Safari tours are available from March to April and October to November annually and depart from Renmark, South Australia.
