The Lookout Cave Motel celebrates the quintessential underground architecture and lifestyle synonymous with Coober Pedy (an opal-mining town located in the South Australian outback and is famous for underground living and being the 'Opal Capital of the World').

The Lookout Cave Motel is minutes from the town centre in a secure and quiet location with ample parking. Featuring 18 guest rooms including 15 motel rooms and 3 self-contained dugouts (apartments). Rooms cater for the single traveller through to families and groups. All rooms are underground and are excavated into the hillside off an impressive hallway with striking natural sandstone rock.

Coober Pedy is the hub of the South Australian Outback and a resource of hidden treasures; they encourage you to explore and discover a unique outback adventure you will find nowhere else in the world!
