Departing from Albury cruise downstream along parts of the Murray river rarely cruised by other operators, through breath taking scenery past pumping stations, tributary river inlets, gum forests and river side towns. this section of river is quite isolated and usually cruised by only tinnies and canoe. Irrigation waters are released from the Hume Dam and river flows are highest during the peak irrigation season. The cruise can be quite the adventure at times due to swift currents, many snags and varying river levels. For those reasons this cruise can only run in one direction during late October and the month of November and even then, it is subject to river levels.
