This is a unique and intimate opportunity to explore the Maxwell estate. Your guided tour will take you in the comfort of Maxwell's electric buggy to visit the vineyards of the estate, including their iconic 92-year-old Grenache vines.

Embark on a behind-the-scenes tour of Maxwell's working winery and learn about the winemaking process - from the arrival of the grapes to the press, fermenting, and blending methods adopted to produce their premium wines. Here, you'll witness barrels of wine patiently waiting to mature and discover the fascinating process the winemaker goes through to help the wine realise its true potential.

Whilst amongst the barrels, you'll enjoy an exclusive private tasting experience and discover more about the fascinating history and heritage of Maxwell. You'll then have a rare opportunity to taste wine directly from the barrel to compare the oaks they are maturing in - just like a winemaker!

After taking in the beautiful views of McLaren Vale from the slopes of the vineyard, your tour is followed by a premium tasting, connecting the vines to their wines.
