Rumi on Louth Experiences

Eyre Peninsula

ATDW pixel
Once an untamed sheep farm established in 1802, Louth Island is situated just 10 minutes off the coast from Port Lincoln.

An ode to the island’s two century-long history, Rumi was created to do two things: restore and revegetate the ancient island on which it’s nestled and to share it wholeheartedly with guests.

At Rumi, the adventure extends beyond just in-house guests. Day visitors are welcomed to immerse themselves in the island’s unique offerings. From the thrill of kayak fishing and buggy tours to the tranquillity of catamaran cruises, every experience is designed to engage the senses. Whether it’s a beach picnic or an elevated dining experience, there’s no shortage of indulgence and discovery waiting for you at Rumi.

Both day visitors and in-house guests can create their ideal island getaway, hand-picking from our range of signature experiences or opting for a specially curated itinerary, where every detail is taken care of for you.

You'll experience the year-round allure of Louth Island, where the climate is as varied and captivating as the landscape. Each season offers a unique perspective, with a Mediterranean-style climate that brings hot summers and mild winters.
