Eyre Peninsula
*IMPORTANT CLOSURE NOTICE*
The Flinders Island Safe Haven project, a collaboration between SA Government, Australian Government and Flinders Island Eco Escape, is underway to eradicate pests from the island and restore the island's ecosystem to create a haven for threatened species.
From May 2025 - December 2025 Flinders Island and all surrounding coastal crown land are officially closed to the public. Bookings are open for 2026.
The homestead is situated on the absolute beachfront in idyllic Groper Bay, with spectacular views of the rugged coastline toward Topgallant Isles. This thoughtfully appointed accommodation is not just a stay—it's an experience, fully self-contained, off-grid living, ensuring your stay is sustainable and comfortable.
Surf, snorkel and dive crystal clear waters. Watch dolphins, and blue groper at play from the front deck. Explore secluded coastline, rock-pools, and heritage areas, ship wrecks, and historical buildings.
A fisher's dream, the diversity and abundance of species is second to none. Bring your own boat for safe mooring, or fish from secluded bays.
Fly, boat, and arrive! Flinders Island airstrip is located at the homestead, or book a boat transfer departing from Elliston.
