Ultimate Wine Lovers Weekend.
Hutton Vale Farm, Henschke, Flaxman and Yalumba are the 2020 winners of Gourmet Travellers Best Eden Valley Cellar doors. These 4 wineries, recently featured in The Real Review top 500 of Australia, have put together a tour, including accommodation food, wine and vineyards for 2 to 4 people over 2 days and 2 nights.
Arrive Friday afternoon to the luxurious J.H.A. Stone Cellar on Hutton Vale Farm. A short farm tour, on your way to Hutton Vale Farm's cellar door for your special tasting. Return to your villa, with dinner and a bottle of wine, for a relaxed evening by the fire or outdoors under the night sky.
On Saturday morning Henschke will send your personal host to collect you for a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a tasting in the beautiful, refurbished Cellar Door before returning to your accommodation. From there it is up to Flaxman Wines, to enjoy lunch cooked by winemaker and Masterchef top 10 finalist, Colin Sheppard consisting of seasonal produce served alongside Flaxman Wines. Return to your accommodation for a night in.
Sunday, after leisurely breakfast, your Wine Ambassador will greet you at Yalumba and host your Unlocked Experience with a tour and tasting followed by a Coopers Platter and glass of wine, surrounded by the beautiful gardens of this historic winery.
