If you love amazing food and entertainment, experience our flight from Hoffnungsthal Valley to the Wheatsheaf Pub. Leaving from our heli-pad, we will fly north over Rowland Flat, with plenty of time to admire the view. Once we’re over the valley floor, we head northwest over Tanunda; Nuriootpa then direct to Allendale. Landing right next door to the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Here you will be looked after by Mark and Chelsea, these guys know how to entertain, and they have awesome food!
You might even meet local legendary horseman; Tom Willoughby will roll in for a yarn (he’s full of tall stories!) He might even arrive on one of his beautiful movie star horses, really, they have acted in movies with Simon Baker and Sam Neil!! They all love a good scratch, selfie and will wait patiently while Tom has a beer with you!
After lunch we take the return flight over Historic Kapunda. Kapunda’s claim to fame is that the town is home to Australia’s most haunted hotel, The North Kapunda Hotel. Just to the south of the town is one of Australia’s “Big Things” – Map the Miner, heading home to the Hoffnungsthal Valley past Greenock.
